“Best race in town……….. ” “One of the real gems of racing in Portland”
The Ruckus Test Team went to the MS-150 in full force. We ended up raising almost $4,000 and sent 12 riders to the event. A great time was had by the entire team, we ate, we drank, we camped, we biked. <img src=”http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2433/3853473347_5aa4d710bb.jpg”> There was an inter-team competition of sprint points for each bridge we encountered. After 100 miles and 33 bridges most of us were pretty wiped. We ended up winning an award for the best jersey! This came as a bit of a surprise to all of us, but it was definitely well received. I know the entire Ruckus Test Team was grateful for all the volunteers and sponsors that helped put this great event on, next year we’ll be back with Aero helmets and TT bikes. The Ruckus Test Team bringing the race to a charity event near you.
The Ruckus Test Team is currently raising money for the MS-150 ride in August. We are planning on sending a minimum of eight riders to do the entire 150 miles. To participate, we set a team fundraising goal of $2,000. Currently we are on our way to achieving this goal. To help raise money we are hosting a night of Ruckus at Blitz-Ladd in SE Portland on July 18th.
To further tempt people into coming out we are putting together an exciting list of prizes that people can win in our raffle. Some of our sponsors include:
Blitz-Ladd: our gracious hosts
: something carbon fiber
: great prizes and helping host!
: a voucher to get your bike stripped and powdercoated
